Finishing the laundry room and around home

We finally got our asses in gear and finished off the basement. We cut pipes, moved wires, re-attached this and that, and hung drywall in laundry room. Glad that sh*t is finally done :) Not the funnest of Sunday projects. But many thanks to our friend Christian who stuck through the entire project showing the in's and outs. We've cut and hung the dry wall and applied the mud and tape. All that is left is for Amber to go to work and have fun painting. I'm sure she'll paint a few times throughout the year :)

But, it looks great and should help out for when we sell. There are no more pipes and wires showing and seals off the house. Plus now we can get rid of the extra drywall in the garage and make way for the Winter's wood supply which we need to get next weekend. Here's a few pics and videos of the before and after laundry room. Plus a few of the kids and around the house.

Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot

Sorry it's been a while since we've posted new photos. We have quite a few but we both have been extremely busy since the school year started with the kids. I don't remember last year being this crazy but we've had things going on every day and night, plus we hung drywall in the laundry room and finished it off.

Here's a few pictures and Videos of the family at the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot, Idaho. Kids had a blast and they finally had $25 unlimited ride passes for each of the girls. So, we only had to spend $50 on rides instead of the normal $75 and more... It was perfect weather for the fair and all had fun and fully bellies...

The Anniversary Tatoo

Well we finally got our Anniversary Tattoo... well at least half of it. We go back in a few weeks to finish the rest of the tattoo.

Here's what the finished tat will look like.... (without the yellow background of course) The symbol is The Hand of Fatima, also called Hamsa, Healing Hand, or the all-seeing protector. (used by the Greeks, Hebrew, Jewish, Muslim, and other) is an ancient symbol of protection used by many cultures. The Hamsa’s protective energy is said to attract good luck, happiness, riches and good health. The zodiac signs below in order are for Frank, Amber, Graycie, and Mia. We'll have it done within a month:

We went to the Chrome Lotus to get the tattoo done by Tim and Aramis. They're both good guys and do outstanding Tattoo work here in Idaho Falls. We've both got a few tat's from Tim, Frank really enjoys the metal playing in the background. They're located just off first street on Higbee... GO THERE! Aramis drew and did Amber's arm band which looks great.

We both recommend Tim and the Chrome Lotus to anyone here in SE Idaho. Here are a few vids of the tattoo tonight.

The Turtle on the Street
After we got home the girls and the Millers found a river turtle walking down the street so we had to go let it go in the canal with the girls. It was about twice the size of the girls turtle and real lively. Tomorrow we're off to the Eastern Idaho State Fair to eat some fatbody food and enjoy the girls on the rides.
