We've had a busy last few weeks. The weather has been slowly turning chillier as the days go on. The first day of Fall was like a button was pressed. Gone with the hot and in with the nice chilly breeze... and the best fishing for a few months. Not to mention the multiple targets while bunny hunting which starts in 25 days. Also, we're getting Graycie out this year to shoot Pine Hen with us an hopefully Dove.

Frank and Amber got the rest of their tattoos completed. We went with our friends Christian and Tammy who got their first tats. All went well and they turned out just perfect.

THE SNOW!!! We woke up today (Saturday) and there was about 4" of snow on the ground and it snowed the entire day. Turned to rain later in the day but it's 6pm and there is sh*tloads of snow on the roof and grass. Watching the news, I guess it was the worst snow we've had in years this early in Fall.

The kids got to play in the snow for about an hour while Frank and Amber shoveled a bit and we were knocking the snow off the trees every 30 minutes before they snapped. We were lucky and had zero damage or tree fatalities. But, while we were outside it sounded like the fourth of July. But, they weren't fireworks, they were trees snapping. All over the neighborhood trees were coming down.

The houses behind ours had a few giant trees split and ripped down the power, phone, and cable wires... there were tons of wires down all over the city. We never lost power but it flickered quite a bit throughout the day.

Driving around the neighborhood in the snow, everyone was clearing the branches and some streets were impassable due to large trees across the road. It looked as if a few guys came through the neighborhood, armed with M-60's and laid down a hail of bullets all over the trees. Some streets with a tons of trees looked like a war zone.

Other than that...nothing. Amber and the kids started hanging up the Halloween decorations, Frank got the first load of wood chopped and put away in the bin. Next week's weather will be back in the mid 60's and hopefully we're done with the white stuff for a month or so.
