Last few weeks at home

Not much going on the past few weeks. We have had some great weather though. Today it was 60 and has been quite nice all week. No rain or snow... but the dreaded wind is here. Its 4 weeks early again, same as last year. A few years ago the wind didn't pick up until April. Yesterday we had 40 mph gusts...

The girls have been able to get out on the bikes and scooters, we've had to get both of them new helmets. Seems like this is becoming a yearly ritual as they are hard on the helmets.

Uncle Mike came up to visit us for a couple of days with RJ. They were here during the weekend and crashed at our place Saturday and Sunday. Saturday they went up to Jackson Hole and skied the Tetons. Sunday we all went out fishing with Steve to the South Fork of the Snake. Water conditions we're the best but we did get quite a bit of hiking in. Ran into a Moose and her calf. I'll be posting the trip on my new fishing blog that is in development.

Other than that notta. Amber got another job to do some interior decorating. She'll still be at her normal work but wanted to get into the interior decorating groove. Hopefully once the kids are at school full time in two years, she'll be doing her own interior decorating jobs... website to come of course.

We've BBQ'd 5 times in the last few weeks, good to see the kids out and playing and now that we pushed the clocks ahead its a little harder getting them to go to sleep. Snow is gone, the trees are budding, almost time for the garden. Bunny hunting season is over, bummer. Pine hen, grouse, and the other bird hunting begins soon :) Steve and I did see a group of three giant black turkeys while fishing the last few weeks. That hunt is in April... Have a good one!
